Classic TVR TAIMAR 1978 Sports Coupe Rare opportunity to purchase one of a limited production run of this iconic British sports car of the 70's. Finished in white with blue model band. Good bodywork and sound chassis (as described by last MOT engineer) Original T Slot Alloys in good condition together with excellent tyres all round Beige interior showing it's 38 years of age but acceptable. Carpets require replacing Strong engine and sound transmission with good braking and steering -for a car this old not having Power steering or ABS Comes with 2 x spare T slot alloys New clutch fitted this week 28/07/2016 MOT until May 2017 There are some niggles; The tailgate is operated by remote cable and not electrically. A replacement switch comes with the car Engine bay requires TLC Slight exhaust blow-possibly manifold gasket Door locks Stiff and require lubricating to free off N/S headlight reflector poor The car has obviously had paintwork over the years but is very presentable Car was recently purchased and transported from Cornwall and is on sale only due to circumstances out of our control V5 with DVLA and will be in our name when returned next week I will add further pictures early next week -please email or text for any further information Car advertised elsewhere so have the right to remove if sold. Good morning to all the1164 viewers of the TVR and the108 watching. ust to say I have tidied up the carpets on the car with some replacement sections and they are now presentable and in place-thank you
